Korean actress Claudia Kim, who plays a supporting role in the blockbuster "Avengers" sequel, recently talked about her Hollywood costars on Korean radio.

Kim said actor Robert Downey Jr., who plays Iron Man in the film, walked about the set like it was his home.

Downey Jr. had a "super-confident" aura, almost like that of a billionaire, which did not make him very approachable, according to Kim.

However, Kim said she noticed he was deeply touched by Koreans, who greeted him especially warmly when the cast flew over for a press conference earlier this month.

"I spotted tears on the inside of his glasses," said Kim.

The Korean actress also said Chris Evans, who plays the role of superhero Captain America, was a surprising "mischievous prankster," even though he seemed very refined and gentlemanly on first impression.

Kim said that Scarlett Johanssen, who was pregnant during filming, had an "easygoing" personality. When asked by the radio hosts of SBS Cultwo Show if she was short in person, Kim replied, "She's shorter than me."

Kim, who is a former model, is 17 cm taller than Johanssen, who stands at 160 cm.

Kim plays Dr. Helen Cho, a gifted scientist in "Avengers: Age of Ultron," which hit Korean theaters on Thursday.

The 30-year-old actress said she was well-fed on set, with one catering truck between every two actors.

"There were detox juices everywhere. If I wanted steak, they would make it," said Kim, who said chefs specially flew over from Spain to feed the cast. "It was almost as though they would make gopchang jeongol (a traditional Korean dish) if I asked for it. They even brought kimchi over."

Regarding her fluent English in the film, Kim said that she has "a passion for learning languages." Kim originally studied International Studies, before deciding it was not for her.

"I wanted a job perhaps as an international lawyer ... (but) didn't really succeed in my studies," said Kim, who nonetheless completed her degree.

Kim, whose Korean name is Soohyun, said last week on national TV that she was "proud" of her role as a Korean scientist and of the scenes shot in Seoul in the film.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" became the fastest-selling foreign film in Korean cinematic history Sunday, selling over 3 million tickets within four days on its release.
