"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is also the most pre-booked foreign film in Korean history, with over 1 million pre-sold tickets.
The film has grossed over 26 million won ($24.2 million) in Korea, according to data from the Korean Film Commission, five days before it hits North American theaters Friday.
The second "Avengers" film is beaten only by homegrown film "The Admiral: Roaring Currents," which currently ranks as Korea's fastest-selling film of all time.
The historical war film which was released last July, surpassed the 3.5 million mark on its fourth day. "The Admiral: Roaring Currents" is also Korea's top-selling film in a single day, with over 1.2 million tickets sold on its peak day.
The blockbuster "Avengers" sequel features Korean actress Claudia Kim in a supporting role and was partially filmed at locations in Seoul.
