Korean actress Kim So-eun talked about her exit from the popular mock-marriage reality show “We Got Married” and her upcoming TV drama “The Scholar Who Walks the Night” with fashion magazine Elle.

Kim and Song Jae-rim were an onscreen married couple on “We Got Married” for nine months before bowing out of the show earlier this month.

“Song Jae-rim and I made a lot of memories over the past nine months. When I thought about the people I will have to leave on the show, I felt very sad,” she said.

Kim is currently shooting an upcoming MBC period-vampire drama “The Scholar Who Walks the Night,” alongside main actor Lee Joon-gi.

She previously acted with Lee Joon-gi 10 years ago when she was a middle-school student in a 2006 film “Fly, Daddy, Fly.”

“When I was 17 at the time ... I called him ‘Uncle Joon-gi,’ but when we met for ‘The Scholar Who Walks the Night,’ I found myself calling him ‘oppa’ (older brother),” said Kim, 25, who is 13 years younger than Lee.

Kim said she wishes to focus on her acting career until she is at least 30.

“The Scholar Who Walks the Night” is scheduled to premiere in July.
