iKON to release first Japanese album

YG Entertainment’s new boy band iKON is releasing their first Japanese album on Wednesday, the label said.

Their Japanese debut album is packed with 2CDs, containing 13 tracks in Korean and 12 tracks in Japanese. The group’s promotion for the album starts on Jan 22. and they are planning to hold fan meetings in both Tokyo and Osaka.

Before the official debut, their first Japanese fan meeting “iKON Fan Meeting 2015 in Japan iKONtact” last October, was a huge success with an estimated 26,600 fans filling up several places to meet and greet the YG’s new rookies.

Their Japan arena tour, “iKON Japan Tour 2016” takes its first step Feb. 11, and will tour five different cities with total of 14 individual shows.

iKON will hold their first concert in Korea this year, titled “iKONCERT 2016 Showtime Tour in Seoul” at Seoul Olympic Gymnasium at 6 p.m. on Jan 30-31, inviting their Korean and Japanese fans to enjoy their live performances.
