Girl group AOA’s member Seolhyun opened up about her breakup with Zico, a rapper and member of boy band Block B, in an interview Friday.

The 21-year-old star told local news outlet Sports Seoul that the breakup was a mere mishap.

“I don’t think (the breakup) will pose a significant hurdle to my life in the long run,” she said. “I didn’t do a wrong thing. Everything comes and goes, and I just went through a rite of passage.”

She added that her bandmates helped her get over the emotional challenges she faced after news of her breakup went online in September.

“Fellow AOA members were deeply concerned,” she said. “They were such a huge consolation to me.”

The two had opened up on their romantic relationship of five months after a celebrity news outlet revealed pictures of them dating. However, their relationship ended about 1 1/2 months after they went public.
