Actors and staff members of tvN drama “Reply 1988” are to go on a vacation to Phuket, Thailand as a reward for the show’s success, according to a local news report Monday.

Production staff of the TV soap said the final decision was made Friday.

The date is set for Jan. 18, two days after the drama’s finale.

Actors including Sung Dong-il have expressed their willingness to join, while Hyeri is adjusting her schedule in efforts to make it.

Previously, actors and staff members of the TV drama’s prequel, “Reply 1994,” traveled to Saipan in celebration of their success.

“Reply 1988” is currently garnering the highest ratings among all cable channel programs in its time slot. It airs every Friday and Saturday at 7:50 p.m. on tvN.
