Popular tvN drama “Reply 1988” will jump ahead in time from the 15th episode, portraying the time period of 1994, according to a local news report Wednesday.

Currently, the drama is set in 1988 where Deok-sun (Hyeri) and her friends are high school students. In the upcoming episode, these characters will be portrayed as college graduates, about to begin their career.

The year 1994 is significant given that the it is prequel of the drama “Reply 1994.” The storyline is expected link both the series.

“Reply 1988” airs every Friday and Saturday on tvN at 7:50 p.m.
