Singer songwriter IU has confirmed that she has been dating musician Chang Ki-ha, 33, for two years, after photos of them on dates spread online Thursday.

“We’ve been together for two years. We first met at a radio program and I fell in love with him at first sight. There’s much to learn from him, and we’re dating like any other normal couple would,” she wrote on her fan page.

“I’m sure you guys are even more surprised by the news than I am. I’m sorry for not telling you guys earlier,” she added.

Early in the morning, local tabloid Dispatch revealed photos of IU and Chang dating.

Chang, the lead vocalist of Korean band Kiha & The Faces, is 11 years older than the songstress. Both of them gained bigger fandom through annual festivals hosted by MBC’s “Infinite Challenge.”
