Korean-American actor Lee Ki-hong amused those present at the “Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” press conference Thursday, by quoting his wife’s comment after being ranked the fourth “Sexiest Man Alive 2014” in the American entertainment magazine People.

When asked on his feelings about the flattering ranking, he pondered for a moment and replied, “I think my wife says the best. Minho is sexy and hot, but I am not.”

Minho is the character Lee plays for the “Maze Runner” trilogy, best known for his agility and powerful running.
Costar Thomas Brodie-Sangster commented that while the character Minho is a “badass,” Lee in real life is more “cute and adorable.”

Brodie-Sangster added, “He (Ki-hong) and his wife is a beautiful couple.”

Shortly after the success of the first movie installment “The Maze Runner” in 2014, Lee married his longtime sweetheart Choi Ha-young in March. The Korean-American couple is based in Los Angeles.
