News articles on supermodel Jang Yoon-ju and her swearing in “Veteran” circulated Wednesday as the movie hit the theaters across the nation.

In mid-July, Jang said her character in “Veteran,” named Miss Bong, swore a lot during the filming -- so much so that director Ryoo Seung-wan occasionally had to stop her.

Miss Bong, the only female agent in a regional investigation unit, is notorious for the frequent use of curse words.

“Director Ryoo sometimes stopped me from swearing at particular scenes,” she said. “I swore that much.”

Jang made her acting debut with a supporting role in “Veteran,” a film starring Hwang Jung-min, Yoo Ah-in, Yu Hae-jin and Oh Dal-soo.
