Uee’s ‘High Society’ dominates Monday-Tuesday slot

“High Society,” an SBS drama featuring K-pop singers, ranked first in the Monday-Tuesday 10 p.m. slot, research firm Nielsen Korea said Tuesday.

“High Society,” whose heroine is After School member Uee, garnered a rating of 9.4 percent nationwide, outpacing its rivals in the time slot including “Splendid Politics” (8.9 percent) and “Remember You” (4.6 percent).

Veteran actor Cha Seung-won plays the title role for “Splendid Politics,” a period drama broadcast on MBC, and actors Seo In-guk and Jang Na-ra star in “Remember You,” a rom-com aired on KBS.
