K-pop boy group SHINee, which is celebrating seven years of success, is featured in local entertainment magazine The Celebrity, including an outdoor, camping-themed photoshoot.

"Thankfully, our path has been much smoother than I expected before our debut," said member Key. "We have also done more varied and fun projects than I imagined. Luckily, we've connected to fans across the world. It's what I've dreamed of since I was young."

Five-member group SHINee debuted with its hit single "Noona Neomu Yeppeo (Replay)" in 2008. The group recently launched its fourth studio album, "Odd," in mid-May.

The lead track from the album, "View," was written by member Jonghyun, who recently enjoyed a solo career.

"The musical style is different to what SHINee has does before, which explains the title," said member Minho. "I'm half-worried, half-excited (about the response). As much as the new album is a new effort, I want to hear people say that it's good and suits SHINee's (image)."

"The most important quality (of a K-pop singer) is having a positive mindset," said member Minho. "Since we are always in the public spotlight, we have to be careful and resilient. We get that much in return, but sometimes I used to wonder negatively why I have to live this way.

"You have to be thankful for a lot of people (around you). There are lots of people who do this kind of work and feel lonely, but I'm really blessed to work with my group mates," said Minho.

Minho said that SHINee has become his "greatest fortune," while another member Taemin said his fellow members are like his family.

After seven years as a successful K-pop act, Minho said that he wants SHINee to reach out to the public with "fresher and better songs."

Jonghyun said that he seeks "personal satisfaction over materialistic gains," while Taemin said that he hopes SHINee can continue to perform in more locations.

SHINee recently concluded a three-day concert in Seoul on Sunday, part of its "SHINee World Tour IV" concert series.
