SHINee’s new album tops rankings home and abroad

K-pop boy band SHINee’s latest album is topping the charts at home and abroad.
The five-member group -- consisting of Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho and Taemin -- released its fourth studio album, “Odd,” on Monday. The new album arrives 19 months after their last EP “Everybody” in Oct. 2013.

Immediately after the release, “View,” a track from the new album, ranked near the top of local charts.
As of Tuesday, the album ranked number one on the iTunes’ Albums Chart in six countries: Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore and Indonesia.
SHINee will start their album promotions on Thursday, starring in Mnet’s music program “M Countdown.”
