SNSD to appear in Kim Soo-hyun's drama 'The Producers'

K-pop singers Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun from Girls’ Generation will appear in the first two episodes. The three singers, who together comprise subunit TaeTiSeo, will play themselves.
Other celebrities to appear in "The Producers" are Hwang Shin-hye, Hyun Young, Youn Yuh-jung and Geum Bo-ra.

Actress Jo Yoon-hee will also make a cameo appearance as a producer and the unrequited love interest of the main character Baek Seung-chan, played by Kim Soo-hyun.

"We plan to offer entertainment with characters that are both real and fictional," the staff member said.
"The Producers" has gained attention well before its official broadcast, since it is the follow-up project of both actor Kim Soo-hyun and screenwriter Park Ji-eun, who previously collaborated on the hit TV drama "My Love from the Star."

The rights to "The Producers" were recently sold to a Chinese online platform for over $2.4 million.
"The Producers" kicks off on Friday at 9:15 p.m. and is expected to air 12 episodes.
