Model-actor Hong Jong-hyun has signed on as the face of new Korean company KELL Cosmetics, according to his management company Thursday.

A spokesperson for KELL Cosmetics confirmed its contract with the rising star.

"Hong Jong-hyun is best suited to the brand's image, having showcased his multitalented skills in acting, television and singing," said KELL Cosmetics.

The cosmetics company, which was founded in 2014 and is based in Seoul's Daechi-dong, said Hong is popular not only among the masses but also with advertisers.

"Hong has shown his sensitive emotions and relaxed image through his projects," said an advertising staff member at KELL Cosmetics.

Hong is scheduled to hold a fan meeting with the cosmetics brand next Saturday in Myeongdong, Seoul.

Hong, 25, recently exited popular TV variety program "We Got Married," in which he enacted a married couple for about nine months with idol singer Yura from Girl's Day.

He is scheduled to appear in the rom-com film "Meet the In-Laws 2" (working title), which will be released on April 30. The film rides on the success of the popular 2011 film "Meet the In-Laws."
