[V Report Plus] Jennie takes fans behind the scenes of ‘Solo’ MV shooting
Jennie of Black Pink unveiled behind-the-scenes footage from the music video for her chart-topping single “Solo.”
The clip titled “Jennie - ‘Solo’ Diary Ep. 1” was released via Naver V app on Sunday. It kicked off with the Black Pink member busily getting her hair done before shooting the first scene of the music video in London.
Showing her clubbing bracelets, Jennie jokingly imitated a woman suffering from a hangover, saying, “I feel nauseous. Ugh, I should’ve stopped myself.”
After shooting some outdoor scenes, Jennie told viewers that the weather in London was so cold that she couldn’t move her frozen arms and had to ask staff to bring her hot packs.
The video also features Jennie dressed in a cute white T-shirt with her name printed in children’s handwriting. She showed fans around a pink-tinged room, saying, “This is a princess’s room. I wish this room was mine.”
Amid her hectic schedule, Jennie said that she did not even have time to monitor her scenes.
“Daylight is short in London, so we have to work fast,” she said.
The first episode of Jennie’s “Solo Diary” ends with the solo artist successfully wrapping up the “Carousel” scene, though she felt dizzy while shooting.
“Solo,” Jennie’s first solo single that portrays herself as an independent woman who handles the pain of a breakup, topped Korean and global charts upon its release last week.
