Bunny hats with moving ears are all the rage in South Korea.

Since the final week of October, the phrase “moving bunny-ear hat” has been on the list of frequent search terms on the Korean portal Naver. The trend has even spread to K-pop stars, who have been spotted wearing the fluffy headgear in increasing numbers -- at fan meet-ups, at press conferences and on the air.

Wearers can move the bunny ears at will by pulling the long plushy sashes on either side of the hat.

The fluffy headgear performs bunny magic to maximize the adorable factor of anyone who wears it.

Below is a photo compilation of stars who have joined the bunny-hat trend.

Twice

Twice starred on the JTBC network’s entertainment show “Ask Us Anything” early this month, ahead of the release of “Yes or Yes” on Nov. 5. All nine members of the group donned bunny hats while singing and dancing to a popular Korean nursery rhyme. Dahyun already had a reputation for being rabbit-like ever since 2016, when she dressed up as carrot-eating white rabbit in the group’s “TT” music video.

EXO

EXO pulled a group bunny-hat action during a meet-up with fans Sunday. Suho, Chen and Sehun sported regular bunny hats while Xiumin wore Pikachu ears. The other band members showed up in equally cute but unidentifiable fluffy hats. After the meeting, the band posted a group photo on its official Instagram page so the whole world could see their irresistible cuteness. Then Suho, Sehun and Baekhyun each posted a video clip in which they appeared in bunny hats.

NCT Dream

Sunny of Girls’ Generation

Sunny of Girls’ Generation posted an Instagram video of herself with fluttering bunny ears on her head. The caption read, “Hi! Flappy, flappy.” The video earned her over 217 likes and multiple headlines such as “Sunny’s bunny personification.”

IZ*ONE

IZ*ONE, the third and latest project group from popular audition show “Produce 101,” wore bunny hats in a cuteness battle on a recent appearance on “Idol Room,” a K-pop-star-only talk show broadcast on JTBC. IZ*ONE’s 12 members battled it out in the hats to earn the title of “the cutest one.”
