Boy band Seventeen’s new song “A-Teen” has ranked No. 1 on the Melon Music chart.

The song started off at No. 9 on the chart but rose to the top spot from late Monday to early Tuesday.

Hoshi, a member of the group, posted a group selfie on its official Instagram account Tuesday with the comment, “Carats! We were so surprised to see the chart this morning. Dino didn’t come down from breakfast because he was shocked!”

Released Monday, “A-Teen” is part of the original sound track of a YouTube web drama of the same title. Wooji, Vernon and Dino participated in writing the lyrics, while Wooji helped with writing the song.

Seventeen recently participated in the “2018 KCON” held in Los Angeles. Representing the group, Pledis Entertainment said the members would appear in music programs and reality shows.
