Choi Min-hwan and Song Seung-hyun of FT Island kicked off the band’s 10th anniversary celebration project with a special fan meeting Sunday.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the band since it first performed on June 7, 2007, FT Island announced its 10th anniversary celebration project on Friday.

The project consists of 10 “treasure chests” -- special events which the band will host with the participation of its fans.

As the first event for the project, Choi and Song met and greeted 200 fans at the fan meeting at HanaTour VHall.

The details of the other nine “chests” will be disclosed via the “plan poster” for the project, which has been uploaded to the group’s website and social media sites.
