YG’s sibling duo Akdong Musician claimed the No. 1 spot across the Korean music charts on Wednesday, right after the new album “Winter” was unveiled.

The two title tracks from the album are “Reality” and “Last Goodbye.” As of 6 a.m. on the same day, the third track of the album “Last Goodbye” took the top spot on seven Korean music charts, including Mnet, Naver Music, Bugs, Olleh Music, Soribada, Genie, and Monkey 3.

Lee Chanhyuk of Akdong Musicians wrote and produced the song. The acoustic song is about longing for past relationships.

Akdong Musician’s popularity has also spread overseas. The album topped the iTunes charts in Indonesia, Panama, and Vietnam. In Hong Kong and Thailand it ranked No. 2, while it took the No. 3 spot in Singapore, and No. 7 in Taiwan.

The sibling duo started their new album activities with a Naver V app live broadcast on Wednesday.
