Singer-producer Park Jin-young, founder of Korean music industry giant JYP Entertainment, will release a new song in April, his agency announced on Wednesday.

“He aims to make a comeback no later than April, but the exact concept and release date for the upcoming project have not been confirmed yet,” said an official from the agency.

The 44-year-old musician launched his album “24/34” about a year ago. Its lead track “Who’s Your Mama?” garnered much popularity.

He also released three songs -- “Road to the Airport,” “Jamsu Bridge” and “Busan Memories” -- under a collaborative project “Sing the Road,” along with singers Lee Jin-ah, Jung Seung-hwan, Bernard Park and Park Ji-min.

Park debuted with his first album, “Blue City,” in 1993. He established his management agency in 1997 and has trained many singers and bands including Rain, Wonder Girls, 2PM, GOT7 and Twice.

He is currently one of the judges in SBS’ survival audition show “KPop Star 5.”
