Jung Yong-hwa becomes special emcee of ‘Day Day Up’

Boy band CNBLUE’s leader Jung Yong-hwa has become a special host on Hunan TV’s talk show “Day Day Up” in China, his agency FNC Entertainment said Sunday.

Jung will shoot the upcoming episode on Monday, as one of the “Day Day Brothers,” the term used to describe the hosts of the show.

According to reports, the program’s producer and emcee Wang Han had asked Jung to join the program as a host.

The 26-year-old singer has already starred in various programs in China. He appeared as a cameo in the popular sitcom “Diors Man” season four and in the variety show “Happy Camp.”

The upcoming episode also includes guest stars such as Taiwanese singer-actor Jimmy Lin, Hong Kong singer-actor Yung Cho Yee and Chinese actress Zhang Yuqi. It will air on Friday.
