K-pop boy group Ulala Session, winner of the third season of Mnet’s “Superstar K,” is gearing up to return to the music scene next year with reorganized members, according to its agency, Ulala Company, on Wednesday.

The original leader of the group Lim Yoon-taek, who died from gastric cancer in 2013, once reportedly said the group is slated to show diverse images in the future.

It will transform into a new quintet by adding two members of Choi Do-won and Ha Joon-suk. The original members -- Goonjo, Park Seung-il and Kim Myung-hoon will continue.

Choi and Ha, who worked as musical actors for a long time, have pursued their musical career under the group of Ulala Praise as of May this year, which is another group of Ulala Company, with Ulala Session’s Park Seung-il also being part of it.

Meanwhile, original member Park Kwang-sun has been referred to as a “devoted son” as he donated his kidney for his mother in the past. Due to his health condition, Park decided to temporarily take a break from the group back then.

Park will focus on the musical “March of the Youth,” (literal translation) starring him, and prepare as a solo artist afterward.

The agency was quoted as saying, “With the reorganized group, we will put much effort to present new and diverse performances.”
