Korean hip-hop rapper Verbal Jint is gearing up to establish an independent label under his current agency, Brand New Music.

According to the agency on Tuesday, the rapper has expressed a desire to found his own label, in order to foster new musicians, whose musicality suits with him. Rhymer, the chief of the agency, pledged to root for and to actively support his plan.

“Rhymer and Verbal Jint go beyond the formal relationship as a producer and artist, being close enough to each other as a family.
The exact name and the overall trait of the label has yet been confirmed,” said Brand New Music.

It added, “But one thing is for sure that the forthcoming label will not be confined only to hip-hop.”

Verbal Jint’s new album, which is scheduled to be produced by Brand New Music in collaboration with Verbal Jint’s independent label, is expected to drop in late November.
