The military drama flick featuring heart wrenching cross-border friendship, will come revamped with Dolby Atmos advanced sound mixing and 4K resolution, delivering a rich state-of-the-art experience.

When it first released in 2000, the movie stayed atop the box office rankings for nine consecutive weeks, amassing over 5.8 million moviegoers.

With a star cast of leading actors Song Kang-ho, Lee Byung-hun and Lee Young-ae, it was later invited to Berlin International Film Festival, and won awards at France’s Deauville Asian Film Festival and Korea’s Blue Dragon Film Awards.

The remastered version will screen at Myung Film Art Center every weekend from Oct. 17. More movie houses will be added afterward.
