South Korean comedian Hong Yoon-hwa on Monday apologized for her controversial behavior on SBS entertainment show “Star King.”

Hong touched Suho‘s thigh during the filming of the program. Some viewers who were present at the site made comments of disapproval on social media, leading to some outrage.

In response, Hong wrote an apology on her personal blog Tuesday, titled “To EXO Suho’s fans.”

“I first want to sincerely apologize to Suho and his fans for my thoughtless behavior. In retrospect, I think I unconsciously touched his thigh in reaction to another host‘s words,“ Hong said. “I apologize for my behavior if it was uncomfortable to see. I’ll be more cautious in the future.”

The comedian argued that she had no prior intentions to touch Suho’s thigh.

The second season of ”Star King“ is set to start during the upcoming Chuseok holiday.
