Boy band GOT7’s Jackson took hair product, body mist and a number of toiletries to the jungle, he revealed Wednesday at a press conference for the new season of TV series “Law of the Jungle,” in which he will be starring.

Girl group EXID’s Hani, who will also appear on the show, explained how Jackson bragged about being well prepared for his trip.
“When we first met for the show, Jackson asked me, ‘What survival items did you bring?’ I replied that I had brought fishing equipment,” Hani recalled. “Jackson then told me that he had brought hair treatment and body mist. That was very memorable.”

“But I never got a chance to use them,” added Jackson. “My hair was blonde at the time,” he said, pointing to his now platinum-silver hair. “So it needed a lot of care. But I wasn’t able to use any of the products I had brought.”

Jackson added jokingly that it was a relief to get away from his boy band training at JYP Entertainment.

“I’m always getting told off by Park Jin-young,” he joked, referring to the label’s chief producer. “So it was great to take a break, away in the jungle. I want to live there.”

“Law of the Jungle” is an SBS reality-variety TV show which features celebrities attempting to survive in the wilderness using only primitive means. Its newest season is set to begin at 10 p.m. on Sept. 11.
