CS Entertainment said Tuesday that trio the Shorties, who participated in the third season of SBS audition program “K-pop Star” in 2013-2014, are set to make their official debut on Sep. 4.

In the photo unveiled on the group’s official Facebook on the same day, the group looks more mature in comparison to their past cutesy image.

The Shorties, who originally consisted of Ryu Tae-kyung, Yeo In-hye and Park Na-jin, gained wide popularity during the program, due to their skillful vocals and wonderful harmony.

The trio failed to make it to the top three in the competition, but signed a contract with CS Entertainment soon after.

Unfortunately, Park Na-jin withdrew from the Shorties for personal reasons after the program ended and another participant from “K-pop Star” season 2, Lee Joo-yeon, joined the group in December 2014.

Park is preparing for her solo debut after joining Hug Entertainment.
