Six-member boy group Shinhwa is set to hold a fan meeting in Japan for the first time in nine years.

The group’s last official fan event in Japan was held in 2006.

Shinhwa is slated to hold two performances at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. in which different events are prepared for each show.

“The members are looking forward to the upcoming fan meeting. It will be the first step of Shinhwa’s future musical activities in Japan,” their agency said.

The fan meeting is scheduled to be held at Makuhari Event Hall on Oct. 10.

Meanwhile, Shinhwa’s encore concert will be held at Seoul’s Olympic Gymnastics Arena on Aug. 22-23 to mark its 17th anniversary.
