Actor Lee Jung-jae revealed that he suffered from hair loss while preparing for the movie “Assassination.”

The movie, slated for release on July 22, tells the story of those fighting against Japan’s colonial rule of Korea in the first half of the 20th century.

In an interview with a local news outlet, Lee said he had to lose so much muscle mass to play the role of an older man that he went from 78 kilograms to 68 kilograms.

According to Lee, the dramatic weight loss caused the temporary hair loss.
