Bang Chan of Stray Kids took to V Live at almost midnight to host broadcast the 83rd episode of his solo weekly segment.

He said it had been a long but fulfilling day, before asking his fans how the band’s performance was at 2020 MAMA. They decided on “Victory Song” and worked on every last details for a great performance, he said.

“We came out with a bang,” he agreed with the viewers. “And hopefully it slapped.”

He stayed on for about 1 1/2 hours and wrapped up the livestream with a gentle song, Bruno Major’s “Easily,” expressing hope that his fans go to sleep listening to it.

“I’m very grateful that 2 million viewers are tuned in as of now despite the (late) hour,” he said pleasantly surprised by the number. I don’t know what to say, he added with a bashful chuckle, and gave a big hug through the camera.

“No matter what the results, I only need you,” he said, soothing the fans who were sad that the band did not get any trophy from the award, before turning off the camera.

GOT7’s Youngjae chats up fans while waiting

Youngjae of GOT7 went live briefly while waiting in a car at 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards.

He moved the camera to show JB who was sitting next to him and they explained that they wanted to make the most of their time.

“I actually can keep myself entertained,” said JB taking out a book poetry he has been reading. Youngjae teased the leader that there may be a request for him to act cute but the latter “politely” declined in advance saying that he was feeling a bit down.

Some fans commented on JB’s color contact lenses and dark nail polish and he explained that he is paying homage to his favorite man character. The polish is chipping away, though, he added.

As for the question if there is a performance of the two main vocals, the pair said that there will only be one by the band as a whole.

“Should we do it here in the car?” suggested JB and he instantly put on Kim Hyunsik’s “Solitude Daytime” and belted out the song from the 1986.

The bandmates of The Boyz marked the third anniversary of The B, their official fandom community.

They blew out the candle, with the number 3, after singing “Happy Birthday” together and were surprised that it may be the first time they are doing it all together.

The 11-piece act was exhilarated that they get to celebrate the day with many special occasions: a live broadcast and an online concert as well as a performance at 2020 MAMA.

“As we told you, it won’t be an exaggeration that our performance at MAMA would be of the grandest scale,” said Eric proudly.

In addition, we have more good news to share, they told viewers, reminding their fans that their special single “Christmassy!” is to be fully unveiled the next day. The song is already out but the single will hit the sales racks and the music video will be uploaded, explained New and Sunwoo as the rest hooted and clapped.

“There is something to be revealed in the music video,” said Joo Haknyeon with a knowing smile.

ITZY’s Yeji enjoys long chat with fans

Yeji of ITZY talked to her fans for close to two hours.

She was all smiles when she found out that fans could use exclusive characters of Midzy, the band’s official fandom community, and tried to join the chat to use it herself but was disheartened that she could not.

“It looks even cuter to see the stickers here on V Live,” she said.

She wished everyone who took the national college entrance exam good results. But even more important is the fact that they have completed the journey, and she imagine that they must feel relieved regardless of the outcome.

“I hate doing strenuous work as much as the next person but sometimes, it gives me the feeling that I’ve achieved something in my life,” she mused.

The idol was touched when a fan told her that seeing Yeji gives a lot of strength to live through life. She is happy that she can be of help in any ways and hoped it can last as long as possible.
