Wooyoung of Ateez held an online birthday party to mark the day with his fans.

“Please don’t chastise me for eating Cherry Jubilee. It’s my birthday,” he told fans, showing a huge bucket of the fruit-flavored ice cream with a gold birthday topper. The staff had even added real cherries on top, he said, picking one and eating it.

He thanked Atiny, the band’s official fandom community, for pushing him to the top in hashtag rankings on social media on his birthday. He also expressed gratitude for a series of events they had organized, including putting up a billboard at the Times Square in New York.

“I can’t thank you enough. But above all, my mother was so happy,” he said.

He had just come from an online chat with fans and explained that he wanted to connect with as many as possible and had to keep the comments short.

As for his bandmates, he went through each and every one of them to say they came to wish him happy birthday -- starting with Seonghwa who was first, dropping by hours before it turned midnight.

Mamamoo’s Sola, Moonbyul check in on fans

Sola and Moonbyul of Mamamoo took to V Live enjoying ice cream.

They had entrails for dinner together at Sola’s home. Some fans asked Moonbyul why she was at the bandmate’s house again, and Moonbyul joked that it was her house now.

“Why don’t you pay the utilities then?” teased Sola.

Moonbyul assured fans that her hand was getting better, making a half heart with her arm. She chuckled and admitted that the doctor told her to wear the protector but she had not been following orders.

The two musicians racked their brains to come up with stories to share and Sola was delighted to find one -- shooting a reality program. She spent a night in a camping car and woke up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. She did not even realize that she had left the door open and only when she stood up from the toilet seat without pulling up her clothes and saw the light from a camera -- “there are about 20” ? right in her face did she fully wake up.

“I was frozen for about five seconds and I thought I really was doomed,” she recalled.

Twice’s Dahyun, Tzuyu try acting with their voices only

Dahyun and Tzuyu of Twice did a “voice-only” livestream together, pretending to be a deejay and guest.

Tzuyu read out a fan’s comment asking them how they come out of feeling low. Dahyun quoted lyrics from Zico’s “Any Song” and said she listens to an upbeat song to boost her energy.

“Munching on snacks, the crackling sound of it also makes me feel better,” she added. Tzuyu chimed in and said that eating makes her happy as well and sang the band’s “Sleep Tight, Good Night” for their fans.

They switched roles and Tzuyu, as a listener, called Dahyun. The latter calmed the nervous caller down and encouraged her to say whatever came to mind. Tzuyu had recently adopted two puppies and asked for advice on potty training, making Dahyun chortle.

Dahyun then suggested calling Butter, one of Tzuyu’s pets, and the owner happily obliged, pretending to pick up the phone in character. The pair could not help laughing as Tzuyu -- as Butter -- admitted to eating very well these days, including the wallpaper.
