[V Report] BTS can figure out their dance with eyes closed
Broadcast dates: Nov. 24-25
Starring: BTS, DAY6, Stray Kids
(Naver's V Live) |
The bandmates of BTS continued playing games to test their solidarity in the 117th episode of “Run BTS!”
The fourth round challenged them to dance that was fitting for the lyrics given to them. And one member, blindfolded, had to guess the name of the song using only one sense: touch.
The bandmates sighed and admitted that it will not be easy. Jimin recommended V to be the one to guess as “he knows all the choreography” and the latter accepted. Suga volunteered to help him stay safe.
The first lyric was from “Boy With Luv” and they each struck a pose. V started by feeling Jimin while Jin wondered if they got it right. J-Hope and Jungkook whispered to explain and Jin smiled bashfully when he found out that it actually was his part. V failed but Jungkook and Suga got the answers right, raising the hopes of the septet to go home early as they only needed to clear two more missions.

DAY6’s Sungjin brings fans out to 2-hour walk
(Naver's V Live) |
Sungjin of Day6 took his fans for a night stroll again.
He decided to walk, not walk, this time and reassured fans that he has bundled up for the chilly weather. He was happy to hear that Young K has started as a deejay for a radio program.
“Meanwhile I’ll do what I can do, work out and practice,” he went on, “I begun working on rehabilitation of my arm and man, it hurts.” But he can feel it getting better and it keeps him going, he added.
Some fans were worried that he might have gotten in trouble having livestreamed without telling the company in advance. The musician sounded nonchalant, though, and said that he came clean first but they already knew and in turn helped him with the update.
As for his recent favorite songs, he said that he has added Sunwoojunga’s “Run With Me” to his playlist. He loves the depth of the female vocalist and often sings along. But releasing a cover would not be easy, he said, as he is not confident enough to put it out there.

Stray Kids gives brief recap of online concert
(Naver's V Live) |
Stray Kids uploaded a video of themselves performing “Side Effects” for their online concert that was broadcast via Naver’s V Live on Sunday.
The stage was filled with red as the dancers carried Bang Chan to the center of the stage. They incorporated strips of red fabric into their choreography adding more drama to the powerful dance as they connected with each other and broke free, unfurling the cloth to a dazzling effect.
Titled “Beyond Live - Stray Kids ‘Unlock: Go Live in Life,” the concert was held instead of their world tour that was canceled due to the pandemic and their fans sent their support through the online video platform throughout the two-hour broadcast.
“Since this is our first concert online we drove ourselves crazy thinking how to deliver the ‘live’ atmosphere,” said Changbin.

BTS lets themselves just be in “BE”: Kpop Herald
(Big Hit Entertainment) |
K-pop Herald reporters Hong Dam-young and Choi Ji-won unboxed BTS’s newest album “BE.”
Hong first talked about attending the band’s press conference, the first held off-line since the COVID-19 outbreak. Admitting that she herself was excited to see them in person after such a long while, she told viewers how the septet came down from the stage after the official media event to say hello to each and every one of the reporters. It was a good idea as the artists seemed very keen to connect with people face-to-face, mused Hong. Listening to them talk, however, was more of a candid, personal chat with the bandmates than a grandiose gesture to make people star struck.
The title track “Life Goes On” sends out a message of hope that resonates even more during the global pandemic. The album as a whole is stripped of any bravura, as the all-white jacket hints. They sing as if they are baring what lies deep inside their hearts, as if they finally have become free from the pressure to put themselves out there, noted Choi.
