The bandmates of BTS were given a series of missions to demonstrate how close they are in the 116th episode of “Run BTS!”

They were full of energy especially because they were shooting the program after a five-month break. The fact that they would be able to go home as soon as they cleared five, out of 16, assignments further boosted their eagerness.

Jimin picked a card for the first round and was not sure if they would succeed at reading each other’s minds. The septet had to strike different poses upon being given a word and after a rocky start, managed to do so three times in a row.

They gathered into a circle and jumped up and down with arms around each other and RM muttered: “This is reserved for a trophy at year-end award ceremonies.”

As promised, they were given a 30-minute break after completing a mission. When there were too many opinions for what they should eat, Jimin persuaded members that they limit it to a light snack lest it should affect their performance in the next round.

BTS floats teaser for “Life Goes On”

BTS also gave fans a tiny glimpse of the video for “Life Goes On,” which will come out on Friday.

The snippet of a trailer showed the artists for less than 20 seconds, sitting around a campfire looking at each other warmly and gazing into the fire peacefully. Then they change into their pajamas and gather on and against a sofa in front of a television looking expectantly at the bright screen.

The music video was met with even more enthusiasm from Army, the band’s army of fans, as the visuals were directed by Jungkook. RM, Suga and J-Hope helped write the song.

“Life Goes On” is the lead track of BTS’s upcoming album “BE,” which will also be released Friday.

The band will perform the song for the first time at the 2020 American Music Awards on Sunday.

Stray Kids’ Hyunjin blocked for being too chatty

Hyunjin of Stray Kids went live after he was blocked from a chat he was having with his fans.

With an embarrassed chuckle, he told his fans that he must have chatted too much. He said he would only stay on V Live for about five more minutes, though, as he had practice and came only to explain the situation to fans who might be worried or surprised, he said.

“Was I being too talkative? Who reported me, huh?” he whined.

He was in the middle of talking about getting a new phone, iPhone’s 12 Pro, as his old iPhone was breaking down and could not even recognize his face. He chose gold as he has done with all his previous iPhones, and Bang Chan, who also upgraded to the same phone with him, chose black.

“I had so much fun chatting with you, but you like it better when you can see me, right?” he said. He repeated that he would stay for five more minutes but ended up staying online for 25 minutes in total.

Ateez marks anniversary with fans

The bandmates of Ateez celebrated the second anniversary with Atiny, their official fandom community.

They had an online text chat with their fans before turning on Naver’s V Live. It was the first time all eight of them had joined the chat at the same time and Hongjoong said that he had a hard time following the messages sent in by fans.

“We also prepared a present for you, a song titled ‘Celebrate,’” the leader reminded everyone. It will be gone in about four hours, though, so please listen as much as you can, he added.

They made quite unconventional attempts at changing their voice tones and vocalists tried raps. The seven members, except for Mingi who is taking a break due to health reasons, sung the first verse at the suggestion of Hongjoong.

Wooyoung said that he could not find credits for the melody and lyrics, all written by Hongjoong, and Seonghwa quietly voiced his amazement how the latter worked on the music in his top-bunk bed.
