The six bandmates of NCT went live from their studio ready to give out hints for each other’s upcoming new songs.

It started with Haechan’s suggestion to talk about what they have been practicing. Johnny said that he has been busy preparing for “Work It” and Haechan said that he saw Johnny’s unit practice the whole song for the first time before going live.

“Why don’t we drop some spoilers for each other team?” Mark proposed. Despite Haechan’s protestations that they had actually promised not to do so, the idols decided to take turns to discuss new music.

After a brief hesitation, Jeno showed a move from “Work It,” turning backward in his seat.

“You were supposed to drop a hint, not reveal (the choreography),” lamented Haechan.

Jungwoo did some shaking from “90’s Love” and Johnny said that the first part of the song brings old-school hip-hop to mind and the choreography seems quite demanding.

“It is hard,” Haechan admitted and Johnny told viewers that every single member fell on the floor after the practice.

DAY6' Sungjin braves night chill

Sungjin of Day6 took his fans on a nighttime stroll, declaring he was not feeling the cold weather at all.

“I’ve always had help with broadcasting live (before), but I’ve tried it myself this time,” he said with a proud chuckle.

Tousling the hair in front that peeked out from under his hoodie, the musician told viewers that he got a perm.

“I left the hair untouched for two months and it was extremely long,” he explained. He obliged fans’ request to take the hood off and ran his fingers through the hair. He had not dried it properly and it was a total mess, he said, before wondering out loud if he was being too candid.

“I’m walking along the road I walk almost every day,” he said, assuring fans that a little exercise is enough to make him sweat regardless of the weather. His hands and feet are very warm all the time, he added.

Astro bandmates make custom Pepero

Moonbin, Jinjin, Rocky and Sanha of Astro tried their hands at making their own Pepero -- the stick-shaped cookies dipped in chocolate -- in time for Pepero Day, which falls on Nov. 11 in Korea.

Rocky first reassured worried fans that he took off his jacket to keep it out of the way of making the cookies, and he actually does not feel cold too easily.

They then showed the ingredients they had prepared, including different flavors of chocolates. Before they started, though, they tasted the chocolate pen first, following Sanha’s lead.

They paired up -- Rocky and Sanha versus Moonbin and Jinjin -- and were busy boasting their skills making food. But the task was much harder than it seemed, and the bandmates had to fight frustrations and laughter, struggling to make something out of the ingredients.

When they were done, both team put on presentations but refused to sample what they had made because they were, as Jinjin said, “a piece of art.”

Twice pushes back boundaries in new album: Kpop Herald

K-pop Herald reporters Hong Dam-young and Choi Ji-won discussed Twice’s second full-length album, “Eyes Wide Open.”

As the album title suggests, the all-female band sings about the thin line between good and evil, how it is steeling itself to face the struggles and confusion, said Choi.

The new album is full of retro vibes in line with the K-pop trend. And it is significant not only because it is a studio album coming out three years after the first, but also because the 13 new tracks reflect how much they have matured in terms of music. The nonet has tried a wider variety of genres and widened the spectrum of their music, noted Hong.

In addition, five bandmates wrote lyrics on five of the tracks. A string of international music makers participated in producing the album, and Dua Lipa co-composed “Behind the Mask.” Meanwhile, the music video of lead track “I Can’t Stop Me” topped 100 million views on YouTube on Saturday, as have all 13 of the band’s music videos.
