Jaemin of NCT Dream thanked fans for celebrating his birthday with a number of events and messages.

As soon as the clock hit midnight, many sent him happy birthday messages.

“Jisung was the first,” he said. The youngest had been counting down since 11:58 p.m. and said “Happy Birthday, Jaemin” almost offhandedly but as soon as it turned midnight.

He said that he had not received any gifts from his bandmates yet. They asked what he wanted and he is thinking hard, the singer saidl, chuckling and adding: “I have to grab the chance.”

Talking about a program he shot with Jeno, he said he is acutely aware of how time flies. “It may sound strange coming from a 21-year-old but it really does,” he went on, “especially after turning 20.”

It is already August and the saddest part is that he barely had a chance to meet Seasonies, the band‘s official fandom community, this year, he lamented.

Nayeon of Twice went live from the band‘s residence after a music award ceremony.

“I was not ready to let you go but I’m the only one here. I feel lonely,” she said barely supressing a smile. She burst into laughter as her bandmates joined her in front of camera.

“I got a compliment today,” Momo volunteered. Emcee of the show “Seulgi told me that my blue hair is really pretty.”

Nayeon teased Momo that she was just being nice since her changed her hair color and it stood out and Momo pretended to cry as everyone cracked up.

“This may sound like a cliche but it was so nice to see you,” said Jihyo. She said that they spotted lightsticks, they even counted them, at the ceremony. Jihyo thanked the fans for their support and added that it was great that they received three awards.

The bandmates of Stray Kids took to V Live after winning a trophy at the 2020 Soribada Best K-Music Awards to thank fans for supporting them.

At Bang Chan’s nudging, Changbin tried a comment he wanted to say after receiving the award -- “We wanted to go to the sea and are happy to be here at ‘Soribada,’” -- sending everyone into a bout of laughter.

The eight-piece act were happy to perform “God‘s Menu” on stage, even if it was only for an online broadcast. They had a blast and loved the blue costumes, they said.

“I was nervous since it has been a while (since performing on stage) and there was an audience in front us as well,” Hyunjin admitted, “but all of us were telling ourselves that we would rock the stage before going up.”

“It was the first time we performed ’God‘s Menu’ in front of you, so it was meaningful,” added Seungmin.

Mark of GOT7 chatted with fans over a bowl of mango shaved ice.

“I just woke up, showered and came here,” he said, acknowledging that he did not eat lunch and saying that the shaved ice was the first thing he ate.

Some viewers asked him to drop some hints for the band‘s new music, but he chuckled and said that there is nothing to share yet.

“Spoiler? There is no spoiler. There is nothing, really,” he said. Fans pressed him by telling him that Jackson and Bambam already said that they are coming out with new music soon, but he only smiled and feigned innocence, murmuring that he did not understand what they were talking about.

As for his hair, the idol said that he is not sure if he will dye his hair. “Maybe I will keep it brown or dark, we’ll see,” he said.

Mark promised, though, that he will livestream every Friday until his birthday, which falls on Sept. 4.
