The bandmates of WayV said hello to fans via Naver’s V Live on Monday, after coming out with “Bad Alive” the prior week.

After introducing themselves individually, the septet first talked about their previous single, “Turn Back Time.”

“Frankly, the choreography was the most demanding ever, right?” Ten remarked and the rest chimed in enthusiastically, dancing and alluding to last-minute changes.

“This time, the ending has improved. My nostrils don’t flare up as much trying not to pant,” said Xiaojun, evoking laughter from the rest of the band.

“We haven’t been able to meet our fans, but I’m so happy that we have a new album,” said Lucas, adding that he has been looking forward to it so much himself.

As for the costume, Ten confided that he thought it was a little too much at first, but looking at the music video, they looked cool.

“I only rapped before but had to sing this time,” said Yangyang, “and I practiced so much but still -- I’ve never been so anxious.”

Soobin and Taehyun of Tomorrow X Together took to V Live for a small chat.

Soobin told viewers that he did not get a haircut but his hair had become too damaged from dyeing and it has been breaking on its own when he shampoos. He had just woken up from a nap and sounded rather raspy, he said, while Taehyun’s voice was hoarse as he just got out of a two-hour recording session.

The leader of the band said that he has been falling asleep whenever he sits down. Meanwhile, Huening Kai has been sleeping in the living room as the room he shares with Taehyun does not have air conditioning, Soobin told viewers. Huening Kai asks Soobin to sleep next to him, but the latter usually sneaks back into his room since he prefers the comfort of his bed.

“Today he asked again and he knew that I go back to my room, so I told him that I will stay this time. After 30 minutes, though, I thought he was sound asleep and patted him on the arm whispering ‘Good night.’ But he suddenly sat up and told me to sleep well,” said Soobin, chuckling and admitting he was really surprised.

TXT digs in without going far

The bandmates of Tomorrow X Together vied against each other in a series of summer-themed games in the 24th episode of their original show.

Their competitiveness was further heightened when they learned that only the winner would be exempt from a “severe” penalty. Everyone except Beomgyu panicked as to what the penalty would be: bungee jumping.

The quintet agreed that Hunening Kai would have to do his best since he is the most easily scared.

“My heart is already pounding,” said Taehyun.

For the first round, they had to get frozen grapes using a tool they chose at random. Huening Kai, who managed to win in the warmup, however, was given the chance to pick a tool first.

“This is so good!” Huening Kai said excitedly, before seeing that the selection did not include any he had expected, settling for sandpaper. When the tools did not work at all, they were given another chance with small hammers.

Youngbin of SF9 talked to fans for close to two hours in a weekly solo segment.

“For the past few weeks I’ve been doing this with my makeup on. Going live with my bare face after such a while, it is quite embarrassing,” he confessed.

Responding to some fans’ questions, he talked about “9loryUS: Epilogue,” a video clip from their eighth EP that was released through the group’s YouTube channel on July 31.

“It is a follow-up of our music video, to heighten your expectations for our next album ... like Marvel’s (credits) cookie,” or the studio’s post- or mid-credits scenes, said the performer. He left the fate of a mysterious, villainous golden snake from the epilogue to fans’ imagination saying he does not know if it will return.

Youngbin told viewers that he has created a new account for KartRider, an online multiplayer racing game, so that he can play with them.
