Irene and Seulgi of Red Velvet put a new twist on the duo’s recent single “Naughty.”

On Friday afternoon, the remix version of the dance-pop song was released via the group’s V Live channel as well as several local and global streaming sites. The song is the third single from iScreaM, S.M. Entertainment’s EDM remix project series. The duo teamed up with renowned producer and DJ Demicat, who mashed a nu-disco style bass beat with the original song’s dance pop vibe.

The new song’s vibrant music video also boasts colorful artwork, featuring the two singers looking clean cut in black and white as they perform sleek dance moves.

The first subunit of Red Velvet, Irene and Seulgi dropped their first EP, “Monster,” in early July. They released “Naughty” to continue their winning streak.

Kang Daniel sets tone for new music

Kang Daniel has never been so ready to face his fans.

With the release of his upcoming album “Magenta” just a few days away on Aug. 3, the prominent soloist offered a glimpse of what’s to come. The lead track, “Who U Are,” offers a mesh of sounds such as Latin guitar riffs, flute, synths and vocal effects. The song is said to relay powerful emotions that are as hot as the blazing summer sun.

In the teaser clip shared on his V Live channel, Kang wears heavy makeup -- a dramatic visual shift from his previous albums.

Sporting a chain necklace and warrior-like black outfit, Kang showcases powerful dance moves with backup dancers against the
backdrop of a dungeon-like set.

Having established his own label, Konnect Entertainment, last year, Kang made his solo debut with the EP “Color on Me,” which was a huge commercial success.

ITZY is the latest act to join the competitive roster of bands coming out with new music in August.

The group announced that it will release its new single “Not Shy” on Aug. 17.

The black-and-white teaser video shared on the group’s V Live channel features the five musicians making a charismatic entry, one by one, against the backdrop of the Wild West.

After hopping into a car, they race down a dusty road, leaving dust clouds behind them. It is said that Yeji and Ryujin obtained their driver’s licenses for the video.

As newcomers on the scene and the first girl group coming out of JYP since Twice debuted in 2015, the five-piece act made a big splash with debut single “Dalla Dalla.”
