Yeonjun and Taehyun of Tomorrow X Together had some dessert dressed up as mice.

The former had a hard time trying not to cover his face from embarrassment -- “I’m not embarrassed” -- and asked the latter to explain the day’s theme.

“It is the year of mice,” explained Taehyun showing a piece of cheesecake that looked like a big chunk of cheese.

Some viewers commented that Taehyun looked like a real mouse and he wondered if it was a good thing.

“I’ve always had a positive image of mice, though, since I saw the animation ‘Ratatouille’ when I was little,” Taehyun said.

“I can understand why (it has a negative image) now,” Yeonjun said chuckling.

Taehyun confided that he had a meal before doing the livestream as he was not sure if the cheesecake would be enough to fill his stomach. Some told him that he seemed to have lost weight although he has not, he said.

“Taehyun actually has been working out rigorously,” said Yeonjun, “and is turning into a real buff.”

NCT 127’s Mark discovers “voice-only” livestream

Mark of NCT 127 tried doing a “voice-only” V Live for the first time and liked the atmosphere.

“I’m not Mark,” he said before quickly admitting that it is him and that he was surprised that some fans thought it was Renjun when he tried to change his voice.

“Jisung often does this and I’ve been thinking it was quite novel,” he went on, “and I finally get to do this today.”

Mark chatted with his fans for about 30 minutes satisfying their curiosity that ranged from what he did with Haechan earlier that day (they ate kimchi-jjigae, Haechan’s favorite, together) to the day’s TMI (I ate while my tooth was still numb from the anesthesia the dentist gave me).
He got even more enthusiastic when he shared his playlist topped by Frank Ocean’s “Cayendo.”

“I don’t know if it’s the melody but the Spanish part sounds so cool. I tried copying but I couldn’t,” the idol said putting the ballad on and singing along.

Ateez ready to drop spoilers for new music

The bandmates of Ateez took to V Live between practices for their upcoming concert.

Hongjoong asked Jongho what they are doing on Tuesday and the latter checked his phone to confirm that they will be hosting “Air Con,” the band’s online concert. The eight-piece act will premiere its new album “ZERO: FEVER part.1.”

“We have prepared an air conditioner out of worries that you would be feeling too hot,” joked Hongjoong.

The leader suggested that they drop some hints for the comeback recital and Yoonho asked their fans to promise to tune in making a hand sign with a knowing smile.

Hongjoong stood up softly singing and walking away and the rest of the bandmates protested that he has taken it a little too far, singing the melody of a yet-to-be-released song.

The members teasingly argued where they should draw the line, rapping from the part that was revealed in the teasers.

“It is a shame, though, that the 90 second trailer for ‘Thanxx’ didn’t get to show the gist of the song,” said San.

Kpop Herald reporters Hong Dam-young and Kwon Yae-rim met with E’Last talking and playing games while having some snacks.

The eight-piece band that debuted in June with “Swear” introduced themselves one by one, and started the interview in earnest with the talk about their knight-themed costumes that come in a series of different versions including pink, Wonhyuk’s personal favorite.

The reporters complimented them on how professional they are already, not only on the stage but also in the music video.

“Being an idol, singing and dancing are important of course, but expressing yourself well is also crucial,” said Choi In. They practice on their own and give each other feedback, and Baek Gyul said that he learns a lot from Wonhyuk.

After giving a sample of his performance, Wonhyuk, former contestant of survival audition program “Produce X 101,” suddenly turned shy and confided that he is a different person onstage.
