Doyoung of NCT 127 livestreamed from a studio with his mood set to a “gentle” mode.

He had started the day slow and practiced a little before having a bowl of salad that was “so yucky.”

“I’ve also been studying Japanese very hard recently, taking lessons as well,” he told viewers. He prepared a comment for Japanese fans: “I really wanted to see you. I am trying my best studying Japanese while I cannot meet you.”

After a few seconds of silence, he wondered out loud if he was that bad at talking, and agreed with fans to put on some music. Going through his playlist, he chose Ha Dong-kyun’s songs recalling how he used to go to singing rooms when he was a teenager.

“I even went alone as I was so into singing,” said Doyoung. Ha was his hero at the time, he added, and he was picked up by S.M. Entertainment when he won a contest in 2013 by singing Ha’s “Rain or Snow.”

TXT hopes for the best with hard-earned chances

The bandmates of Tomorrow X Together faced a series of missions hoping to realize a wish.

Each of them filled out a board with their wishes -- specifying who, where, what and how. If any of those were repeated, however, those factors would become invalid.

The quintet quickly wrote down their wishes and shared. Yeonjun was bewildered when Beomgyu disclosed that he wished Yeonjun would swim in the Han River while everyone was speechless to hear Huening Kai’s: Taehyun’s pet cat devouring a scorpion in the Sahara Desert. They were much more satisfied with Taehyun and Yeonjun’s ideas to stay at a seven-star hotel in Dubai or to do nothing but play on Jeju Island.

Their proposals, mixed with the producer’s, were written down on to a roulette board. Before they started spinning the board, they were given a chance to make corrections by staying together on a piece of paper, that was folded into half five times, for three seconds each without touching the floor.

Kevin and Jacob of The Boyz went live from Kevin’s room at their company’s new headquarters.

“We literally just finished recording ‘Simply K-Pop,’” Kevin said of their hosting a music show on Arirang TV.

“We record emceeing for the program every other Monday,” Jacob added, “and since Kevin’s studio is all set up, we wanted to do something here.”

While Jacob struggled to open a box of cheese toast with jam, Kevin told viewers that he has gone through a mental battle with Ikea and finally put together everything and settled into his new studio only the day before.

Kevin asked Jacob if he had finished assembling his drawer and the latter thanked Kevin for doing it for him.

“We each get one (set of drawers) but Kevin assembled two. One for himself and one for me,” Jacob said smiling as Kevin shook his head silently.

Baekho of NU’EST came up with an idea to better show his gratitude to fans for celebrating his birthday together.

He took to Naver’s V Live from a hotel room that was right across Coex in southern Seoul. From the window, he showed that he had a perfect view of the huge electronic billboard that his fans put on to mark his birthday.

“I’ll eat first, since I’m starving,” said the idol showing a meal package complete with a steak. As he opened the box, however, all his attention seemed to be on the other side of the road.

“I’ll be able to catch myself on the screen, right? That’s what I’m here for,” he asked his viewers admitting that he cannot focus on his meal.

He was looking at the sunset when he saw the ad for the second time. The birthday boy could not take his eyes off saying: “Wow, this is unbelievable! So huge!”
