How Monsta X spent ‘Fantasia’ promotion
Monsta X pleased fans by unveiling behind-the-scene footage of the group’s “Fantasia” promotion. The video captured various moments, from how the band spends their time before appearing on music programs to holding a video fan meeting with fans from around the world.
While the group waited to perform, I.M. was shown doing a plank exercise on a sofa, saying that he could hold still for one minute, while Juheon showed off his rapping skills. Shownu showed what’s inside his personal bag, which included hand sanitizers and a massage gun.
The clip also featured the bandmates communicating with their global fans via video chat, a new form of fan meeting in the era of social distancing.
“I think the video chat has a unique charm. It cheers me up a lot,” said Shownu after the event.
Minhyuk also said, “It’s been a while since we met our fans and the event quenched our thirst for it.”

Song Min-ho’s jukebox
Song Min-ho of Winner gave a sneak peek of his studio life during a V Live broadcast.
Looking relaxed in his studio, the rapper kicked off the video by clicking on some files on his computer without saying anything. For the next few minutes, he played some music, which seemed to be the songs he was working on.
Wearing a comfortable-looking black shirt and shorts, Minho also briefly communicated with fans, talking about what was for dinner and his day.
He continued to remain quiet for the rest of the broadcast and just enjoyed music with fans. Although he didn’t talk much, fans could see that he was enjoying himself as he kept bouncing his head to the beats.

Woodz greets fans as soloist
Woodz, whose real name is Cho Seung-yeon, greeted fans as a solo artist during a V Live broadcast. With his blue hair that matches the signature color for his recent single “Love Me Harder,“ the singer said, “I had a fan signing event today, but I decided to turn this on as many people seemed to be wistful to say goodbye.”
Having originally debuted as a member of X1, the now-defunct boy band created through the Mnet show ”Produce X 101,” Cho made his solo debut on June 29 with his first EP titled “Equal” and single “Love Me Harder.”
He continued, “Thank you for all your support. I feel sorry and responsible at the same time. There are still so many things to show you guys, such as my performance video for the new single.”
Cho also added that he lost a lot of weight for the comeback, as he doesn’t eat much when he feels tired. “My body easily gets swollen. But don’t worry, I’m not sick. I’m just trying to figure out how to deal with it,” he said.
Irene and Seulgi gear up for ‘Monster’
Excitement is in the air, as two members of Red Velvet are gearing up to release a duet single.
In the teaser video, the two singers show off their distinct charms amid the backdrop of a cryptic setting, with Seulgi holding a lit candle and Irene a knife. With its charismatic vibe, the song is expected to showcase totally new sides of the Red Velvet singers.
According to S.M. Entertainment, “Monster” is a dance pop track that tells a story of an imaginary monster that invades one’s dream and dances around one’s mind. It is also described as a track with heavy bass and a powerful dubstep sound that boosts the duo’s unique charms.
The upcoming album of the same title will be out on Monday.
