[V Report] No costume silly enough for BTS
Broadcast date: June 23-24
Starring: BTS, Tomorrow X Together, NCT Dream, Mamamoo
(Naver's V Live) |
BTS got busy “creating” costumes for each other for a self-organized photo shoot in the 105th episode of “Run BTS!”
Suga marveled at his reworked shirt, sprayed with patches of color, saying it was totally in sync with the spring and summer season trend.
Jin was busy stitching a red glittery jacket while J-Hope and RM shared their color sprays to improve their handiwork.
“I never knew I would use a glue gun so much,” muttered Jimin.
J-Hope and Jin played a game with the producers to earn items -- J-Hope chose a flower tiara to add on to the pants and Jin a huge feather for his hat.
When they finally managed to finish, it was time to get changed. Jungkook was speechless when he learned he had to wear Jin’s, but struck a pose fit for a fashion model, or a prince, sending everyone down to their knees.

Tomorrow X Together's Beomgyu, Taehyun indulge fan's request
(Naver's V Live) |
Beomgyu and Taehyun of TXT shared behind-the-scenes stories sent in by their bandmates.
The two sported locks of hair tied up on the top of their heads.
“We had a session of video calls with our fans and one minute, one and a half even if we stalled, is too short to express how much we missed each other,” Beomgyu explained. Upon a fan pleading for him to try the hairstyle in the pair’s segment, he got to work on the fan’s wish and was joined by Taehyun.
They then began to go through accounts told anonymously by their bandmates.
“I’ve been practicing hard as usual. I looked in the mirror but something was slightly off. ... I was trying to find a better facial expression to go with the choreography when Soobin came up to me and said, ‘You’re doing great. Keep your spirits up!’” said the performer, wondering if Soobin had fallen for his good looks.
“I don’t think Soobin will be taken by any one’s looks,” said Taehyun.

NCT Dream's Jisung keeps fans up to speed
(SM Entertainment) |
Jisung of NCT Dream did a “voice-only” V Live, confiding that he could not bear the boredom anymore.
“I just came home after practicing, working out and dropping by a store,” he said.
He has been working out often these days and can totally understand why fans are worrying about him getting too muscly.
“But I’m not trying to bulk up,” he assured them. “I think I am a little too slim, especially since I am rather tall, so I wanted to get wider.”
The idol joked that it must not be him when some fans addressed him as a “baby.” Why am I always a baby to Seasonies, the band’s official fandom community, he wondered out loud.
“I debuted at 15 ... and actually I sometimes feel like I’m still 15,” he admitted.
He sang a part of “Balloons,” a decade-old hit from TVXQ, telling fans he could not get the song out of his head.
“It would have been perfect for NCT Dream ... hopefully we’d be able to cover this someday,” said Jisung.

Mamamoo's Sola, Moonbyul reach out to fans
(Naver's V Live) |
Sola and Moonbyul of Mamamoo sat down for a lengthy chat with fans, going live from home.
It has been a while that the pair livestreamed together, and many of their fans asked Moonbyul to do it again while she held a session of a video call meeting a few days ago.
“And I promised I will without asking (Sola) first,” said Moonbyul.
Assuring the bandmate that it was okay, Sola said, “So we’ve decided to come on V Live even though we look like this. We thought you would understand.”
Sola has been concentrating on her recovery after a back injury and shooting a reality program called “On & Off” for a cable television network.
Moonbyul told viewers that she has been keeping up with her workout and Sola complained that Moonbyul has been boasting how healthy she has become.
“You’ve lost all your muscles,” Moonbyul told Sola touching her upper arm before bursting into laughter.
