V and Jungkook of BTS made paper carnations for Parents’ Day, which falls Friday.

“Before we start, what have you been doing?” Jungkook asked V as both chuckled.

“I’ve done some strawberry picking, and at home, am working on music and eating,” said V. Jungkook asked if he’d done any cooking and V replied that he always ordered in. The youngest band member has been learning guitar and boxing, something he couldn’t do when they were busier.

Jungkook said the two musicians might fall silent while concentrating on the project and asked viewers for their understanding. They didn’t know how long it would take to complete, said V.

V watched, and while waiting for the glue to harden on his hairband Jungkook cut the red paper into big pieces before realizing they were the wrong size.

Jungkook was at a loss for words for a few seconds but resumed cutting. They got busy with their work and V, having finished his early, crooned Lauv’s “Never Not.”

EXO's Baekhyun hangs out with fans

Baekhyun of EXO took to V Live to celebrate his birthday early with his fans.

“It is Children’s Day today and I thought some of you grown-ups may be a little bored by the time,” he said. “And it also is my birthday tomorrow and I wanted to thank everyone for showing their love, putting up ads and everything.”

He just felt like hanging out with fans, especially since they would not be able to meet up in person due to the COVID-19 situation.

Baekhyun had asked fans to send him questions in advance and spent quite some time going through them before the livestream. The first question he chose to answer was about which EXO song he would choose if he could debut again.

“Well ... it would be ‘Monster,’ or ‘Call Me Baby,’” said the musician. “I would choose ‘Monster’ because I want to show the powerful side as EXO. As for ‘Call Me Baby,’ I feel as if I could have danced better,” he explained.

BTS's RM, Jimin boast perfect teamwork in kitchen

RM and Jimin of BTS tried cooking, following Suga’s instructions, in the 103rd episode of “Run BTS!”

Having watched the first team -- composed of Jin, V and Jungkook -- trying to make two dishes according to the game’s rules, with Jin giving orders while the other two took turns relaying messages and preparing food, the second team seemed to have figured out a better way.

It was fun watching through the camera but coming into the cooking studio to actually cook was unnerving, said Jimin, admitting that he and the band leader were both terrible cooks.

The trio began their mission, with Suga calmly telling the others what to do -- beginning with washing their hands, twice. Through RM, Jimin was told to wash the ingredients while RM was told to stay calm lest he get hurt. He has been known to break things.

When RM switched roles with Jimin after two minutes, Suga gave out a couple of instructions, but RM asked Suga to tell him one thing at a time.

Twice's Nayeon, Momo skip details about new music

Nayeon and Momo of Twice went live while enjoying a late dinner.

“We have ordered some food and also wanted to see you on V Live,” said Nayeon, bubbling with giggles.

“It also celebrates (the upcoming release of) ‘Fanfare,’” she added, referring to the announcement that came out earlier that day -- that the group would unveil its sixth single in Japan in July.

They’d decided to do the livestream on a whim, Nayeon said, explaining that they looked all too natural and asking viewers for their understanding.

With sighs of contentment, the two gobbled up the food -- grilled duck, yukgaejang (or spicy beef soup), rice balls and sausages -- and Nayeon nudged Momo to tell viewers the news about the single in Japanese.

“You are in charge of Japanese,” Momo teased, making Nayeon repeat the sentence. They were preparing a lot, Nayeon added.

Fans also asked for hints about their forthcoming EP, “More & More.” Nayeon and Momo agreed that it’s quite different and is more demanding than the previous EP.

“I want to see the fans’ reaction,” said Momo.
