Taeil, Jungwoo and Mark of NCT 127 continued the band’s relay V Live segments with a “pork belly grilling competition.”

“We look so cute!” said Mark looking at themselves on the screen wearing aprons.

Mark and Jungwoo will be grilling some pork and Taeil will be the judge of who was better, they explained. Mark went first, telling viewers that they all are starving. After he put two slices on the pan, however, he regretted not having added the salt beforehand.

“The tip I’ve picked up is not to flip it too often,” said Mark, “It’s all about patience.” Taeil and Jungwoo were not convinced and wondered if it was too burnt. Instead of wiping away the fat that came out, Mark insisted that they should make use of it and fry some eggs.

“I should try the meat while it’s hot, okay?” interrupted Taeil reminding the bandmates that he is the judge.

Seventeen’s Vernon catches up with fans

Vernon of Seventeen took to V Live and had a brief chat with fans.

He woke up late and had a late lunch: chicken breast and vegetables as well as protein powder since he was feeling “too lazy to cook something for myself.” When fans asked what he cooked best, he said with an embarrassed chuckle that he cannot come up with anything, as he knows very few recipes.

The performer said he could not take off the black beanie, as requested by some viewers, he said confiding that he didn’t know what to do with his hair. Some asked how many beanies he owned and he acknowledged that he has many.

“But these days, I only seem to rotate among a few, and mostly wear this,” said Vernon of the Stone Island beanie he had on.

Kang Daniel invites fans over to practice

Kang Daniel livestreamed while practicing at the company studio.

“I have told you I want to do V Live and here I am,” he said. Showing a black baseball cap, he confided that he feels like he dances better with a cap on.

Although many of his fans have seen him dance in person, there still are those who haven’t, said the musician telling viewers that he will let everyone see him practice. He will also offer a tutorial for the windmill, a b-boying move, with a sheepish grin. When someone asked him if he would take on a trainee, Kang said he himself should become good enough to meet his own standards first.

He started with “Jealous,” the third track from his recently released EP “Cyan.” After dancing to the hook part, he returned closer to the camera and said the choreography of this song is not as good if he sings it on his own.

NU'EST's Hwang Minhyun says hello

Hwang Minhyun of NU’EST said hello from his home after wrapping up the day’s work.

He practiced and had pork belly with Aron and Ren as well as the managers. It was so delicious, he added, and it made him feel good even though he slightly overate for the first time in a while.

When he saw a fan’s comment recommending instant noodles, he confided that he has been trying not to eat them but had some with the pork. It is such a good combination, he admitted. He is not staying away from it out of worries of gaining weight, though, but more because he believes not eating ramyeon definitely has helped keep his skin clear.

“It is too yummy ... but it’s worth a try,” said the idol.
