Yeonjun and Hueningkai of TXT tried excavating dinosaur fossils.

After showing off their palm-sized kits, the pair could not suppress chuckles when Yeonjun read out loud that they were for kids aged 3 and up.

“It’s an honor,” said Hueningkai with mock solemnness. “And I will do my best, as if I have gone back to my childhood.”

They both admitted that it was their first time and that they were not very knowledgeable about dinosaurs before Yeonjun realized that there were no instructions.

“It’s OK, though. MOA will help us out,” they agreed, referring to their official fandom community.

Yeonjun began to dig into the brick and his eyes went wide when a chunk of it came off. He tried adding water while Hueningkai asked viewers if they knew what kind of dinosaur he had, showing them the picture on his box.

“I am done, almost,” Yeonjun announced, showing off his tiny tyrannosaur before moving on to the next kit.

NCT Dream’s Renjun goes live from car

Renjun of NCT Dream went live in the car after hosting a radio program.

“Yes, I left as soon as it was over,” he admitted, chuckling at the comment that he was getting out of work on time.

“I have a lot of fun doing the radio program and time seems to go faster when I’m doing it,” he added.

He chatted with fans, thanking them for the compliments on his yellow hoodie. But when they asked when he would be releasing the cover of Troye Sivan’s “Fools,” after giving viewers a taste of it in the last live segment, he replied unhappily that it would be a while. The band’s schedule would have to be adjusted due to the COVID-19 outbreak, he said.

The idol’s face lit up again, however, when he talked about the band’s concerts in Manila and Jakarta over the weekend.

“We were completely immersed in the passion of our fans, enough to forget about the heat outside,” he recalled.

Son Dongpyo hints at pending return

Son Dongpyo surprised fans by taking to V Live with no advance notice for the first time.

“Yes, I’m bare-faced as I’ve been practicing,” he acknowledged, smiling into the camera.

He had a vocal lesson and hadn’t eaten dinner yet, but had picked up some desserts instead, said the former X1 member, showing off pieces of cake, macarons and bean-filled mini-doughnuts.

Some fans commented that he seemed to have lost weight and he said he’d actually gained some and needed to lose the extra kilos.

“Why do I need to lose weight?” he asked rhetorically with a mischievous grin. “Please keep your expectations high,” the idol said. He absolutely stays away from soft drinks when he is on a diet, he said when viewers asked him to share tips.

“And I definitely don’t eat anything after 6 p.m.,” said Son.

IZ*ONE uploads video from jacket cover shoot

IZ*ONE floated a behind-the-scenes video from shooting the band’s latest album jacket cover.

“I’m waiting for the rest of the members,” said Yabuki Nako, who had finished her individual scenes as well as the group shots. She walked over to Honda Hitomi and the two agreed to study Korean to make the most of the time.

The two looked up old episodes from the group’s reality TV program and used them as a conversation starter, but soon got distracted laughing at their mistakes.

The next day, Jang Wonyoung showed off her “regal” deep pink costume as well as her big hair after shooting her solo parts.

“I have chopped off my hair into a bob!” said Kim Chaewon as Jang and Kim Minju said she’d undergone the most dramatic change.

“Actually, it’s a wig,” confided Kim Chaewon. “You can tell just by looking at it, right?”
