“Hundreds of fans have been queuing up to visit the store, which opened last week and will run for 80 days,” she explained before entering the pink-themed three-story building, the color recalling the band’s album “Map of the Soul: Persona.”

“This is like heaven for BTS fans,” said Hong once she stepped into the store, which was full of BTS merchandise. Items ranged from T-shirts sporting the name of each bandmate to cups and dishes inspired by the musicians and by Seoul.

“Once you walk in you will never get out,” she said, walking up to a big screen playing the music video of Jungkook’s solo “Euphoria.”

“I want every one of them!” said the reporter, looking at a glass showcase displaying “DNA” goods and memorabilia. She also marveled at the Mattel dolls, admitting this was the first time she had seen them in person.

He’d just had his makeup done for something else and wanted to talk to his fans while he still looked nice, said the idol. With a thumbs up sign, he happily reported the good news that the band’s cover of Adam Levine’s “Lost Star,” from its fan meeting event, had been uploaded online.

“It feels great! I was the one who was in charge of directing all of us recording the song, telling them to do this and that,” he told fans.

The six-piece act has released a series of teasers and is gearing up for the release of its fifth EP, “Nostalgia,” next month.

“Looking at them made me realize that we really are returning ... and in about an hour, the track list for the album will be disclosed and hopefully you will like them,” he said, thanking fans for placing preorders for the EP.

“This is what I have been waiting for for so long,” said Seungsik.

Seen in a dreamlike setting, Jinyoung seems lost in thought as he looks at Polaroids. A mysterious green light shines on him and he lights a candle.

The previous trailers gave fans a sneak peek of the Polaroid pictures, showing glimpses of the bandmates. In one, JB appears in front of a table strewn with Polaroids. Plants are everywhere in the room, which slowly brightens up, and he picks up an old camera and takes another picture but is startled by a green beam. In another, Yugyeom pours water into a glass, which sits on a Polaroid instead of a coaster. Jackson, in the third video, picks up the glass and waters a plant in a vase.

The band has wrapped up the European leg of its international tour and will begin the Asian leg this Saturday, visiting fans in Manila, Bangkok, Singapore, Macao, Kuala Lumpur and Taipei.

“This is the first time I am going to Thailand and I was so nervous that I almost took off my shoes when boarding,” joked Cho Yuri.

“This is my first time, too, and I am going to drink tangmo pan every day,” said Jang Wonyoung with great anticipation, referring to a Thai watermelon smoothie. In another row, Choi Yena also declared that she would try the famous local drink, encouraged by Lee Chaeyeon. Lee was looking forward to eating shaved ice topped with mangoes, she said.

Later, still in the plane, Honda Hitomi was taking a nap while Miyawaki Sakura was eating her in-flight meal. Yabuki Nako has been studying, Miyawaki told fans.

When they landed, the girls were excited to ride a cart at the airport but a much bigger surprise was waiting for them outside as fans started screaming at the sight of them.

“We didn’t know so many would be waiting to see us here,” said Kim Minju in the car, where the bandmates could still hear their fans shouting for them.
