Apologizing for a glitch due to an unstable connection, the band congratulated Hyunjin, who hosted the K-pop special and thanked fans for being there.

“It was also the first time we showed the nine-piece version of ‘Side Effects,’” said Seungmin.

“The stage was quite big, but (without the backup dancers) it felt as if there was so much space,” said Changbin, adding that they tried their best to fill the stage.

“But it didn’t look strange on camera,” said Woojin, to which Bang Chan added that it was kind of cozy.

“Just so you know, our choreography is pretty demanding,” Han spoke up, rousing a round of applause among members.

The bandmates thanked fans again for participating in the show despite the scorching weather.

“We will be headed for Europe now, so Stays in Europe please wait,” said Bang Chan, addressing their fan group. Stray Kids will hold showcases in the UK, France, Germany and Russia.

Sporting dimples -- “a huge gift from my mom” -- the leader of the band assured fans that he was not tired.

“I didn’t catch a cold. It’s just that I have used my voice a lot for the concert,” he added.

“And I have plans for after livestreaming. I have to catch up on a drama that Minhyeok and I have fallen in love with,” said the idol, citing well-known lines from “Hotel Del Luna.”

“When I watch dramas, I get so wrapped up … and the background music at the scenes that sets your heart aflutter!” he said, confessing that sometimes he even reenacts lines in front of a mirror.

Trying hard to keep up with fans, Juheon talked about recently released movies, including “Toy Story 4” and “The Lion King.”

“Since I am in the middle of a global tour, I couldn’t see any movies but as soon as can I will,” he said. “I like the ‘Toy Story’ series, but honestly am more tuned to ‘Lion King.’ I love Simba.”

“Did you pick me?” asked Bambam, referring to a recent poll among the members for the band’s leadership position in an entertainment program.

“Yes. But I simply wanted to eat some meat,” said Youngjae, alluding to the bandmate’s vow.

Despite the failed attempt to replace JB, Bambam seemed to still be eyeing the position. “I will let anyone use my credit card, without any limit,” he said. “We will do our best no matter what but it would be even better if the conditions were better, right?” he added.

Meanwhile the pair shared some of the messages from their group chat, starting with how Bambam reproached JB for being late.

“We have been okay with it for several times since we know that he has been working on our songs but this time I was a bit severe,” said Bambam.

The Wanna One alumnus has turned to acting and stars as a lead.

“I had a media presentation earlier today and was extremely nervous. I don’t even remember what I said out there,” he confessed. Smiling at a fan’s comment, he agreed that he looked like a stickman when posing for cameras at the event.

“Whenever I do something new (as a singer), I got to meet you, but this time I couldn’t, so it felt kind of hollow,” said Ong, explaining why he was broadcasting via the V Live app.

“That was the only thought I had, and besides my mind is blank,” he said with a shake and sigh.

“This will be the first time for me to watch the full episode as well, so I am all in knots. But everyone, don’t be nervous for me, just enjoy it please,” said the singer and actor.
