Girl group Blackpink released its eighth episode of “Blackpink Diaries” on Naver’s V Live, to show what went on behind the scenes at the band’s debut at Coachella, annual music festival held in California.

They arrived at the Incheon Airport to travel to the US, taking off with fans cheering with support. Blackpink made history at Coachella, becoming the first K-pop band to perform at one of the largest music festivals in the world.

The girls also ran into actor Will Smith, who came to watch his son Jaden Smith’s performance. Will also surprise viewers by joining Jaden onstage to rap and perform together.

Before going up the stage, other singers cheered for Blackpink, including Khalid, who said he can’t wait to see Blackpink’s performance.

With their electrifying performance, Blackpink won over the audience with their music, powerful dance moves and charismatic stage presence.

“We -- you guys and us -- are from totally different world. But tonight I think we’ve learned so deeply that music brings us as one,” said Rose.

“I will remember today for the rest of my life,” said Lisa.

Wonho
Monsta X’s Wonho go lives from Japan

Monsta X member Wonho gave a surprise V Live appearance from Japan. The septet is in the country for fan concert.

Wonho went live from his hotel room to share about his day to the viewers. He went shopping for clothes and also ate lot of good foods, including okonomiyaki, Japanese pancake.

For dinner, he ate salad in front of the fans, known as Monbebe. He said he watches what he eat to stay healthy and fit. “What I like about salad is, I feel good after eating them. I feel fresh and clean,” he said. “The croutons are the best part of this salad though.”

Momo
Twice talks between shooting “Fancy” MV

Girl group Twice took fans behind the scenes of filming the music video for “Fancy” on the latest episode of “Twice TV” via Naver’s V Live.

“Today we are here to shoot the ‘Fancy’ music video,” Momo said.

Momo shot her part in the music video where she sings on the swings. She looked scared at first, but after a while, she started enjoying the swing ride.

She also filmed the group dance moves with other members, giving explanation about the choreography and practiced the moves before the shooting.

The cheerful members also made sure to have fun with each other between the shootings.

They changed outfits number of times, including the all-black outfit. “We haven’t wore an all-black apparel except for the award ceremonies. It's a new look that we are trying,” she said.

Eric Nam
Eric Nam asks and answers questions about himself

Singer Eric Nam, who is well-known for interviewing numerous international celebrities, became his own interviewer in the clip titled “Eric Nam x Eric Nam” release on Naver’s V Live.

He asked and answered various questions about his life, podcast and upcoming concert tour in Europe.

“There wasn’t a podcast hosted by a Korean singer. So I thought it would be fun to do it,” he said. “In my podcast, I talk about the new releases of the week or introduce singers I like. The show is to let people know about the new music, and less on reviewing them.”

He also talked about his upcoming European tour, where he will be traveling to 11 cities throughout the region, including Lisbon, Madrid, Milan, Prague, Warsaw, Berlin, Cologne, Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam and London.

He is excited to meet fans and do a more intimate concert. He said he will also continue to collaborate with overseas singers, including DJs.

“I can’t rest,” he said. “I enjoy trying new things, making and challenging myself. It gives me joy.”
