“Today we are taping the 11th and 12th episodes,” the performer said before joining the production crew.

Between scenes, when asked for dinner recommendations, the singer-actor said, “I want to eat large crabs. I want them so bad. Or abalone.”

“Cold noodles with soy milk … it will soon be summer. I heard there is a great place in Yeouido. Pan-fried potato pancake, duck, gyudon, takoyaki with beer,” he said.

He finally picked fried chicken for fans to enjoy while watching the television drama. “Those over 20 can have chicken with beer, and those still in their teens, chicken with cola,” he said.

He appeared to be giving his first lead role his best shot. During breaks, he was seen referring to notes he had made for himself. “I could remember things so well when I was young, for school exams,” sighed Jinyoung.

“This is very meaningful since it comes from you,” said Han and Bang Chan of the Next Leader prize.

“It was the first time we performed ‘Miroh’ on such a big stage,” said Lee Know. “It reminded me of last year --how we talked about how wonderful it would be to show the song, which was already made, on a stage like that,” said Changbin, with everyone agreeing.

The boy band appreciated how many had showed up and supported them.

“I could easily spot them holding signs and dancing … but also was glad and thankful when fans of other artists also joined and enjoyed our performance,” said Bang Chan.

“Tomorrow we are flying to Manila, our first time in the city!” the leader added.

The bandmates hooted in excitement, saying, “We can’t wait to see you!”

Signifying the four seasons, the song was made in Korean, Chinese and Japanese. With warm electric guitar and groovy drum sounds in the background, the medium pop number will feature the singer’s gentle vocals and melodic rap.

Chanyeol had participated in writing lyrics and composing for several of the boy band’s hit songs, including “Love Shot,” “Ko Ko Bop,” “Gravity” and “With You.”

“SSFW” is part of the third season of S.M. Entertainment’s Station, a digital music channel that releases the collaborative works of artists, producers and songwriters every other Thursday.

He made a name for himself appearing in the second season of the audition program “Produce 101” and debuted with boy band JBJ before striking out on his own in June last year.

“During days I am on schedule and afterwards, I practice for the upcoming album. Up to eight hours, and five to six hours at least,” said the solo artist.

“All my songs have been good, but this will be even better,” said Kim, adding “I have participated more in this EP and feel more attached to it.”

He even came up with the choreography for the new title song, themed around the bright, clean and cool image of early morning.

“Usually the choreographers suggest a rough idea and then we work on it together, but this time, I proposed the initial version … and it will let me show what I do best,” said Kim.
