The music video for the main track on the band’s EP of the same titled logged 10 million views in four hours on YouTube. Within eight hours, that number had reached 18 million and set a record for the K-pop genre.

To the hammering beats and deep sounds, the charismatic foursome dazzles in the highly visual music video, projecting girl power to the hilt.

The song has already landed at No. 1 on the iTunes worldwide song chart as well as iTunes charts for Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Indonesia, Mexico, Philippines, Thailand and Turkey.

The group canceled a media conference planned for Friday at 11 a.m. out of sympathy for the victims of the devastating fire that broke out the previous night in Gangwon Province.

Sowon laments the tiny zit near the corner of her mouth before going up on stage for a rehearsal ahead of the band’s first concert in Tokyo, while Yuju asks fans to remember what she looks like every time she goes out in full makeup. She tells them she will be covered with sweat afterward, “like a little mouse.”

The camera follows the singers backstage ahead of their second concert in Tokyo -- the band’s final performance in Japan.

“We have been so happy. We are having four performances, once in Nagoya and Osaka respectively and twice here,” said leader Sowon.

“We will keep returning, so we are not sorry that this is the last of this tour,” said Yuju.

Sowon walks around holding a camera, complimenting all her bandmates and saying how pretty they are to boost their confidence before they take to the stage.

The boy band had a successful debut last year, winning eight rookie awards, but this is the first time it landed in the top spot.

Singing a tweaked version of “Happy Birthday” over a cake, with a single candle, the nine members expressed their wonder and appreciation. “It is even more special since the date is April 4, 2019,” said Woojin, reminding his bandmates that it matched the title of a song from their first album, “4419.”

“This is destiny,” he said dramatically.

“I admit. I did cry,” said Changbin. “When I heard the announcement, I tried to control my emotions covering my face, but when I undid my hands I saw crying. That just did it,” he said.

“Stay” refers to Stray Kids’ fandom community.

The bandmates renewed their promise to stay humble and not let success go to their heads.

“I have no problem with jet lag. For some reason, I don’t feel the time difference in the US,” he said on Naver’s V Live on April 1.

“I am very grateful to you (fans) for letting me hold concerts here. I believe I have done my best and wonder if you have enjoyed,” added Hwang. Though he usually does voice-only shows, he acknowledged that showing his face was a good thing.

“I wanted to go live when I stopped at Big Sur,” he said. “It was a magnificent view and I tried but couldn’t find signals.”

He proved his forte when his second album, “The Four Seasons,” sold over 100,000 copies upon its release.
